Dr K (a work in progress)

Dr K you seem so pleased to see me, as I pass by you disrobing slowly in a jest
Falling within the comfort of leather seating deep with my hands nervously moving
I prepare my defense. You comfort me with your faint voice that crawls out of your mouth
and soon I am on my feet with the lights on center stage for another performance
a brilliant virtuoso sullied by ids and egos, naked bathing mothers and quiet fathers,
the neighbors girl in her glory swimming in nude while sweat oozes from my psyche

I bring to life just for you the freight I felt being caught in full appreciation of my sexuality
The assault of disappointments and guilts of a beautiful mind caught in ceremonial
Patterns of birth rights, Gender confusion (I liked Pink!) of the have and have not
As the chorus burst " she left him at Three " and the voices in the background
whispering " Tuesday Child, maybe the prodigal son, second child syndrome "
