Mahmood Barghi
I have spent most of my life trying to write about My Grandfather's life. At some point I had over hundred pages written, and who knows I might still find the time and the motivation to do it.
Mahmoud Barghi passed away On Sunday September fifth. He was tall and handsome and he had IT, whatever IT is that makes one stand out in any gathering or crowd. He was handsome the way Errol Flyn and Clark Gable were.
Creamy skin, Big almond eyes, Full head of black hair and he was debonair, poised and elegant. Dressed in English
suits and vain enough not to bend to pick up a $100 bill. He was conservative with an appealing constitution. He knew how to disarm enemies with a smile and charm them with quiet measured gestures. Women would woo him and men would despise him.
